What We Need From You

Two concrete items — price them separately. Add Alternate 2 may or may not be awarded, but provide a firm unit price regardless.

Item 10 — Base Bid

Concrete Sidewalk Ramps

  • 1,000 SFT — ADA ramps at all road crossings
  • N 144th Avenue and Butternut Drive corridors combined
  • Grade 3500, air-entrained concrete, 6” thick
  • Detectable warning surfaces required per MDOT Section 803
  • Conform to MDOT Standard Plans and current ADA standards
  • Engineer approval required before each pour
  • Includes forms, placement, finishing, curing, and DWS
  • Measured and paid per SF installed and accepted
Item 32 — Add Alternate 2

Riley Street Ramps

  • 700 SFT — same spec as Item 10
  • Riley Street corridor only (144th Ave to Christmas Lane)
  • New 6-ft-wide pathway — approximately 2,700 LF
  • ADA ramps at all road crossings along this corridor
  • Grade 3500, air-entrained, 6” thick, DWS required
  • Price separately — Alt 2 may or may not be awarded
  • Provide a firm unit price regardless of award status
Not in your scope — handled by Terracon or others
