What We're Bidding
Terracon LLC is bidding the 2026 Park Township Shared-Use Pathway Repairs project for Park Township, Ottawa County. The base bid covers full reconstruction of approximately 6,500 linear feet of HMA shared-use pathway across two corridors: N 144th Avenue from Pine Creek Bridge south to Riley Street, and Butternut Drive from 144th Avenue east to 148th Avenue.
Work includes complete pavement removal, 6-inch 21AA aggregate base compacted to 98% density, and 165 lbs/SYD of MDOT HMA 5EL in two courses (base + top). ADA-compliant concrete ramps will be installed at all road crossings. Modular concrete block retaining walls will replace existing timber walls at two properties on N 144th Avenue.
Two bid alternates expand the project: Add Alternate 1 addresses timber wall removal and regrading at 1933 Ottawa Beach Road near Lake Macatawa. Add Alternate 2 adds approximately 2,700 feet of new 6-foot-wide pathway along Riley Street from 144th Avenue to Christmas Lane.
By the Numbers
The two base bid path segments total approximately 4,900 square yards of new HMA surface. The Riley Street alternate adds another 1,800 square yards, bringing the combined project to nearly 9,200 linear feet of improved pathway corridor for Park Township residents and trail users.

Work Locations
The base bid covers two connected pathway segments in Park Township. Add Alternate 1 is located near Lake Macatawa on Ottawa Beach Road (not shown at this zoom). Add Alternate 2 extends the corridor along Riley Street.
