What We're Building

Terracon LLC has been awarded the 40th Street Midblock Crossing project for the City of Holland. This project creates a new mid-block pedestrian crossing on 40th Street, improving walkability and ADA accessibility for the surrounding neighborhood.

Work includes removal of existing sidewalk and curb sections, installation of new concrete sidewalk (4" and 6" sections), ADA-compliant curb ramps with detectable warning surfaces, replacement curb and gutter, and all associated site grading and restoration.

Fence removal and reinstallation along the corridor will also be completed as part of this contract, along with all required traffic control measures to safely manage vehicles and pedestrians during construction.

All work will be completed in accordance with City of Holland specifications and 2020 MDOT Standard Specifications for Construction.
